Mark Sanchez’s parents are Olga Sanchez and Nick Sanchez Sr. He was born in Long Beach, California in 1986. Mark Travis John Sanchez, better known as Mark Sanchez, is a former American football quarterback.

On July 23, 2019, he announced his retirement from the National Football League (NFL) and began working on television college football coverage.

He is a color commentator for Fox Sports 1 and Fox’s NFL coverage.

He attended the University of Southern California (USC) during his NCAA football career. Sanchez was dubbed the nation’s best recruit right out of high school and was well-regarded when he arrived at USC. Sanchez began his professional career in 2009 when he was selected in the first round (fifth overall) in the NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
