My name is Abu Hafsah Abdul Malik Clare.
Abu Hafsah Abdul Malik Clare (Jerome Clare), was born totally without sight and raised Canada.
I was born in Canada’s tenth province good old Newfoundland. I was born without the use of my eyes (blind)
When I was 5 years old my Mom moved us to Nova Scotia where I went to a special school for blind children.
I left that school when I was ten years old for a “normal” school. I started wrestling as an amateur at the age of 9. Wrestling became my passion. I was fascinated by the professional wrestlers. The way they talked and the way they acted captivated me to the point where I wanted to become the very first totally blind person to become a pro wrestler.
When I was 16 years old I read Roots by Alex Haley.

I was intrigued by this religion where the people worshiped ONE God alone and with no partners. I came from an Irish catholic family and we were taught that Jesus was the son of God. In Islam, their were no such concepts.
